As a psychotherapist, Kate is dedicated to helping others embrace healing by developing internal resources and shifting perspectives. She works with individuals who are eager to understand themselves more deeply and grow in various areas of their lives. With a deep appreciation for the nuances of the human experience, Kate creates a space of acceptance and respect where clients can explore their thoughts and emotions freely.
Kate's approach to inner exploration encourages clients to engage in introspection, cultivate
self-awareness, and confront the more difficult parts of themselves with compassion. She
integrates Psychodynamic, Narrative, and IFS-informed frameworks into her practice, believing
that a well-rounded, educated approach—coupled with warmth, intentionality, and the right kind
of challenge—can facilitate meaningful growth.
Kate believes that personal growth begins with trust, connection, and vulnerability. It is an honor
for her to walk alongside clients as they embark on their journey of self-discovery and healing,
offering support and guidance every step of the way.
Kate began her career as a psychotherapist in 2010 and has experience in Community Mental
Health as well as private practice psychotherapy. Kate continues her work in private practice as
well as teaching as an adjunct professor in the Psychology Department at Towson University.
